Başak Metin Kurtulmuş is a passionate educator with 30 years of experience and the Turkey Office Manager of Britannia Schools. She was born in Bursa and completed her education there. She finished her primary and secondary education at Bursa Özel Namık Sözeri High School and completed her higher education at the Faculty of Education, Uludağ University, English Language Teaching Department.

Between 1994-2000, she worked as an English Teacher at private high schools and organized language education programs by bringing student groups from Oxford Brookes University in England. She also provided language training to major industrial companies in Bursa, especially in the automotive and textile sectors.

In 2000, she specialized in Private Tutoring and Curriculum Planning by participating in training programs with the American-based USIS (United States Information Service) and also obtained an English Translation certificate. In the same year, she became a Foreign Trade and Marketing Specialist and exported to 12 countries with her own foreign trade company.

Between 2000-2005, while doing business with the United States, she received Testing training at Nese Schools based in Boston and conducted Foreign Trade English and Marketing seminars at Uludağ Exporters' Associations. In 2005, she opened her own language course and continued to provide education at BVKOFIS Education Consultancy.

Together with Britannia Schools, Başak Metin Kurtulmuş continues to provide guidance to students and adults in line with national ethics and principles, offering comprehensive consultancy and guidance services for High School, University, Master’s education, Language Schools, and Summer School Programs in the UK, helping students turn their dreams into reality.
