Özgür Geyik has been working as a primary school teacher in Cambridge since 2007. After graduating in 2000 from Yeditepe University in Istanbul with a degree in English Language and Literature, he began his teaching journey by obtaining Pedagogical Formation from Yıldız Technical University and teaching English at primary, middle, and high school levels.

He has given seminars at ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) education fairs and pursued a master's degree in this field. After providing Academic English education at Istanbul Technical University, he worked at the British Council, informing and developing programs for English language courses.

In the Philippines, Özgür Geyik volunteered in a project organized by BBC World Radio and the British Council, where he prepared English programs. Since 2007, he has been working as a primary school teacher in Cambridge.

During this time, he has taught subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, and Physical Education. He also has experience in communication with families, addressing psychological support needs of children, and providing support for special educational needs.
